Writer: John P. MasonJohn P. Mason

Toronto's Breakfast TV show recently gave morning viewers a taste of Guild Park as part of a segment about amazing architecture across the city.

Host Sid Seixeiro was joined Jan. 17, 2025 by history communicator, Anna Vranic. She talked about the "cool things to see" at Guild Park in "demolition-happy" Toronto.

"At Guild Park, you can definitely immerse yourself in what Toronto would've looked like up until about the '60s," Anna explained. She spoke about the park's landmark Greek Theatre, the Art Deco fragments from the Toronto Star building and gave a shout-out to "Henry" the purported paranormal entity who haunts the site.

The Guild Park segments starts at 2:30 min. Anna also talks about Toronto's old City Hall, the mid-century modern Lord Lansdowne School and the space age Oculus Pavillion at South Humber Park.
