Friends of Guild Park - Annual General Meeting - Tues. Apr. 22, 2025

Announcing the 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Friends of Guild Park takes place at Guild Park's Clark Centre for the Arts, Tuesday April 22, starting at 7:30 pm.

The AGM agenda includes:

  • a series of initiatives that will bring additional resources to Guild Park.

  • highlights of the notable past successes - challenges still ahead - at the park;

  • the organization's financial overview, report, plus

  • two special resolutions for members' approval.

Supporting material will be available online to members in advance of the meeting.


As part of the event, Friends of Guild Park members will learn about an innovative partnership with Canada's Veritas Foundation. Veritas is a leading charity that strengthens this country's not-for-profit sector.

After the formal meeting, guest speaker, Veritas representative Giselle Saati, will outline the significant ways Guild Park benefits from this new partnership.

Annual membership is $20 per person; $10 for Seniors (65 yrs or over) and Students (25 yrs or under).


Friends of Guild Park also invites volunteers to consider joining the organization's board of directors. This community-building opportunity will interest people committed to a spectacular and sustanable future for Guild Park.


We look forward to hearing from Friends of Guild Park members, especially those familar with nature, the arts, social media, fundraising or storytelling.
