Unveiling Guild Park's Heritage Toronto Plaque

Guild Park’s Greek Theatre will be honoured with a historical plaque during Guildwood Day 2025, Sat. June 7.

The unveiling is scheduled to take place that evening as part of the community BBQ and entertainment organized by the Guildwood Village Community Association. The time of the event to be confirmed.

Everyone is invited to attend the unveiling near the grounds of the Greek Theatre. The landmark [Greek Theatre] was built using marble columns and arches saved from the ornate Bank of Toronto building (1913-1964).

The Greek Theatre plaque is the result of a $7,500 fundraising campaign launched by Friends of Guild Park in partnership with Heritage Toronto.
